Residential Design Services
|
Residential work at Design One is one of our areas of expertise. What separates us from
other design firms is that we welcome small and large projects and we provide the same high level of service affordably. Additions,
renovations, interiors, and designs for exterior living space make up some of our portfolio. Much of our work involves developing
creative solutions for growing families or bringing older structures up to date with contemporary living standards. Additionally,
attention to aesthetics and “curb appeal” is important to the value of all homes and is always a key consideration
in decision making. Proper planning prior to the construction
phase of a project ensures high-quality results. During the planning phase, we: - Develop
preliminary designs for review and approval
- Coordinate with the surveyor
or site plan for zoning compliance.
- Create detailed construction
document drawings for permit & bid.
- Issue drawings to bidders
and coordinate all project pricing.
- Coordinate with other consultants such as
structural engineer and landscape design
- Work with plan review officials to resolve any
issues or questions.
